I haven’t seen the Biennale. But can you give some detail to Not illegals. I think the word ‘illegals’ will go into history as one of Australia’s low moments.

The reference to ‘illegals’ reflects the current government’s view that people who arrive (by boat) seeking asylum must somehow be illegals. It is not illegal to seek asylum by any means. And this is a sad and mean-spirited time in our Australian history.
