It was good to read about your interview
(I never knew it was your birthday either)
As you know I follow all your travel blogs and comment on some of them
Like you, sometimes we have internet problems, but even in a worst case they are fleeting and are for never long anywhere
I have used some of your recipes as well, more so when travelling and group shopping and cooking
I do blogs as well (I never you could make money from them)
I just do them for me, friends and family, it saves me sending out emails to everyone, plus I can post more photos
Unlike you I was never a writer, journalist, just a ordinary bloke who writes it as it happened
Last time I did serious writing was in English classes at school, I don’t know how to write a blog any other way, I just write it as I see it
I’m not a pro photographer either, but I do have a posh camera (wish I knew how to do more with it)
I take photos for me, good and bad ( they are always good to look back on anyway)
Have to find how and why anyone would want to pay me for writing a blog

Derrick, we’ve had a great time travelling and enjoying one another’s blogs. I reckon your best stories ever are the amazing ones you told in the comments on this blog post. https://leggypeggy.com/2016/07/21/if-youve-committed-such-a-crime-i-forgive-you-but-dont-do-it-again/
I still laugh myself silly over those. Hope you manage to drop back here and give people a link to your blog.

I can’t see anyone wanting to read my ramblings
I got back over and read them occaisionally, look see if anyone has read them posted any comments, or even found em useful
They are really for me to look back over, places I have been, people I have met, things I did
A reminder when I stop travelling, places,people, things I did ๐
It’s all reminders
Your blogs are more ๐

Happy birthday! Happy to have found you recently and nice to read a little about your blogging philosophy (which seems to match mine)! I regaled my husband with stories of some of your overland travels and am waiting for him to jump up in excitement about doing one ourselves …

Thanks for the good wishes. Happy to help you egg on your husband. Can you tempt him with cheap haircuts? Poor John got one in India for 80 cents.

HI Peggy, I just left birthday wishes on Roberta’s post. Can you tell me about the wonderful photo or give the link to the post where I can read the story around the photo. I’m guessing Papua New Guinea but maybe not. Oh and enjoy your second long weekend in a row! Louise

Thanks Louise. That pic was taken by Milly, who we travelled with in Papua New Guinea and again in Alaska. I first post it here. https://leggypeggy.com/2014/09/23/keeping-busy-in-the-jungles-of-papua-new-guinea/ I didn’t explain much then and need to do another post about it.

Leggy Peggy, happy late Birthday 2 U… and a Happy Birthday for 2017! Nice to read the Roberta Pimentel blog. Most of your comments I kind of knew about, since I have followed your Travel Blog and Cook Blog for a long time. Hummm, when did I come aboard to post on your blogs? Five or more years?
Happy Blogging…. and enjoy your springtime in OZ!

Sy, your messages are always most welcome. You have been a faithful follower and commenter for both blogs for a very long timeโat least five years. Spring is on the way hereโglorious today but a blast of winter for the next two days. Hope you’re getting a colourful autumn.

Thanks Vicki. That is definitely one of my favourite pics of me. It was taken by fellow traveller, Milly, in Papua New Guinea.

What a great interview Peggy. First let me say I had no idea you had another blog about cooking. I will have to check it out. I want you to know that the effort that you put into describing places that I’ll never see are greatly appreciated and very interesting. You do an excellent job and I always look forward to discovering a new place and experiencing it through your description and pictures. Oh, and happy belated birthday.
